I’m Alana.

I’m an Adelaide girl who’s passionate about social justice, communications and youth engagement. I’m a big fan of post-it notes, I’ve got a weird obsession with octopuses and I love structured fun.

I’m a big believer in the power of everyday leadership. I like big debate, even bigger ideas and politics (preferably the progressive kind).

You can find my blog here. It’s a mixture of my ramblings on social issues with a few reviews and recipes thrown in for good measure. It will (hopefully soon) feature interviews too!

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me at work running youth programs, playing with arts & crafts, dancing, enjoying good wine with good people and/or eating lots of cheese at a picnic – my favourite way to spend a weekend.

PS. Although I’m involved with some excellent organisations, all my blog posts are my own personal opinions
